The great choreographer

The Great Choreographer

For years I have called Father God the Great Choreographer. He has blessed me beyond measure. He has artfully orchestrated the details of my life to bring me to the man I married, the church I attend, and the ministry He planned.

Today, I was reading Colossians in The Passion Translation, and I read the footnotes for Col 2:19 We receive directly from Him and His life supplies vitality into every part of His body. (I added ‘my body’ because I need vitality)

The word supplies means “to lead the chorus” “choir director”, one who paid for all the expenses and supplied all the needs throughout the production.

Jesus tunes us to heaven’s notes and draws out the melody of His divine symphony. He supplies the music to us and imparts the wisdom for us to play it under His direction. This is the artful picture of how Jesus orchestrates His body with its many members.

The Word supplies is epichoregeo, thus, The Great Choreographer.

What is He planning or orchestrating for you? You can ask Him for the song. He will give you the wisdom to play it.
